Update on COVID-19

13 March 2020 (by admin)

 Dear parents and carers,

The action plan on the parents tab has been updated based on the press release held yesterday.  Please can we urge you to be vigilant.  If you or your child has a new persistent cough or high temperature; do not attend the school site.  The advice is that you must self-isolate for 7 days.

If you still attend the site and display symptoms we will approach you to check that you have sought medical attention.  We may also ask you to collect your child if they begin to show symptoms whilst at school.

If you have symptoms and self-isolate, please do let us know and we will record this absence as authorised. We are awaiting advice from Hampshire for parents who are self-isolating without symptoms.

If you need our support if you become unwell, please do call the office as we may be able to help.

We are a community and we must work together to keep everyone safe.

I will be demonstrating the Zoom software in assembly on Monday.  This will be one of the main ways we will be teaching your children in the event of a school closure.  Please can I ask that you download the APP onto a device, or let us know if you are in need of a device at home.

Likewise, if you have an unused device at home and you would be willing to donate it to the school to pass on, please let us know.

Thank you for your continued support.
