Dear parents and carers,

It has been a fantastic week in the school; albeit it very warm!  Well done to the Year 4 children who have completed their multiplication check this week.  This is a test of times tables which is set by the government for pupils in Year 4 children across the country.  The results will be sent out in the last week of term along with other tests results across the school.

Sports Day preparations

We are really looking forward to our Sports Day on Thursday next week.  Please check your child’s bag for the letter with the information about the day or let us know if you have not received one.  We will keep an eye on the weather and send out any additional information if needed the day before.  Please encourage your child to wear their PE uniform top.  If they do not have one, they can wear any plain coloured top linked to their House Team.

Please note that there will no clubs on Thursday afterschool due to Sports Day.

Girl’s Rugby Tournament

Well done to the nine Year 6 girls who took part in the Sparkling Rugby tournament on Thursday afternoon.  They all played well and there are some budding players in the team.  Although they didn’t win any games, they improved so much over the matches and are now going to look at training younger players in the school.

School Uniform

Thank you to everyone who has sent in school uniform for us to offer to parents on Sports Day.  Please do keep sending in any outgrown items for us to give to parents free of charge.

I hope that you have had a lovely weekend and have time to catch up with your family!
