Year 2 trip update- return time
26/06/2026 12:52 PM

Year 2 have had a lovely day on their trip (I was very tempted to join them after stepping on the air conditioned coach this morning!!)

They are due back in school at 1.40pm. If you have completed the early finish form to take your child home, please come to the canopy area at this time so we can dismiss them to you. If you have other children you have also completed the form for and wish to collect them at the same time, this is not a problem. We can keep them in school until 1.40 also instead of collecting them at 1.05pm or 1.15pm.

Many thanks

Mrs Vicky Hopkins

Dear parents and carers,

Please find attached information about essential funding for schools to help our children. With school budgets so tight, we would appreciate parents looking to see if they are eligible.

Many thanks for your support.

19/10/2025 5:42 PM

We currently plan to still go to Forest School tomorrow (Monday 20th Oct) afternoon. We will review this decision at lunch time. Please ensure you send your child to school with a waterproof coat and wellies/boots to change into. As long as it is safe, we will go in the rain! Many thanks.

Welcome to the Spring Term and teacher update
6/01/2025 7:03 PM

Dear parents/carers,

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we look forward to seeing you all back at school tomorrow for the spring term.

I am contacting to inform you that Miss Facey will be leaving us at Easter as she is having a baby. I am sure you will join me in congratulating her and we will be excited to meet her new arrival soon. To reassure you going forward, Miss Wilkinson, one of our regular cover teachers who knows the school and children very well, will be covering the class for the summer term whilst Miss Facey is off. Miss Wilkinson is an excellent teacher who will do a very comprehensive handover with Miss Facey before she leaves. You will have the opportunity to meet her in the spring term but please do come and speak to us if you have any questions.

Kind regards

Mrs Hopkins

Art

 Dear Parents and Guardians,
As part of a whole school Harvest art project, Year 2 will be creating a pictures using a range of media.
If you have any spare, coloured magazines, please send them into Madrid and Budapest classes by Monday 19th September. Please ensure the magazines are suitable for 6-7 years olds to view. We will be using the coloured pictures to tear up to create a collage.
Thank you
