NSPCC visit and fundraising

7 October 2019 (by Vicky Hopkins (vhopkins))

We were very lucky today to work with the NSPCC in assembly who delivered a 'Speak out. Stay safe' presentation to our children. To support the amazing work of the NSPCC, the School Council are organising a 'Big Workout' day to raise money for the charity. On Monday 21st October all the children will be able to come into school in sportswear to take part in the event where we will be aiming to run or walk 500 miles between us all, complete 5000 ball throws in total and jump or skip 50,000 times as a school. Your child will be bringing home a sponsor form today and any forms and money need to be returned to the school by Thursday 24th October for collection. If you are able to sponsor your child, or ask friends and family to sponsor them for taking part in this event, we will be very grateful. The children are really looking forward to what should be a fun day- hopefully we will have some dry weather!
