Welcoming in the year of the metal rat!
Thank you to all who helped us to celebrate Chinese New Year on Friday. It was lovely to see so many children wearing red or traditional Chinese costume during the day.
We had a lovely party after school with a range of activities including:
- Learning about Chinese objects
- Decorating biscuits with Chinese writing
- The marshmallow chopstick challenge
- Chinese zodiac colouring in
- Refreshments including fortune cookies and green tea
A special thank you to the group of parents who undertook much of the planning and preparation for this event- we could not have done it without you!
