Anti-Bullying Week

15 November 2019 (by Vicky Hopkins (vhopkins))

The children have been working really hard as part of 'Anti-Bullying Week'. Our 'Odd Socks Day' on Tuesday was a success and helped the children to recognise that difference is something we should celebrate. The children have also worked in their classes to create pledges linked to the week's theme, 'Change Starts With Us'.

The Anti-Bulling Ambassadors, a group of children across the school who have been trained to help children who might be being bullied, have set the children a challenge. They have asked the children to create a poster at home for anti-bullying week, and they will choose one winner from FS/KS1 and one from KS2 to have their posters displayed around the school. If your child would like to participate, please feel free to help them. Posters need to be no bigger than A4 and need to have your child's name and class clearly written on the back. The children may want to link their poster to the theme 'Change Starts With Us'. Posters need to be handed in by Friday 22nd November to the office or your child's class teacher.
