Rotary Shoebox Appeal

23 September 2019 (by Vicky Harper (vickyharper))

We are pleased to be supporting the Rotary Shoebox Appeal again this year. Your child will bring home a leaflet about this this week which will include the label to be attached if you choose to make a shoebox.

The Shoebox Appeal is to help support disadvantaged children in a number of countries including Albania, Montenegro, Moldova and Romania by providing them with some Christmas gifts.

Please see the attached image for information on how pupils can create and fill a shoebox, making sure the correct size
box is used and the items included are suitable.

Shoeboxes should be returned before half term ready for collection. A donation of £1 with each Shoebox is requested to cover the cost of transport.

In previous years pupils and staff have been very generous making up shoeboxes of gifts individually or as groups. These are always appreciated by the children who receive them.
