Dear parents of year 4,5 and 6 pupils,
We are taking part in the Sparkling Rugby League again this year and are looking for players to form a team.
A trial session will take place afterschool next Thursday (29th September) for pupils in years 4, 5 and 6. This is an opportunity to take part to see if they like the game and also for us to assess if they display the skills needed to take part in the rugby tournament this year. They do not need prior rugby experience to take part in the trial.
We will then select a group of 20 children to train each week on Thursday between 3:20 and 4pm. We will inform pupils and parents on Monday 3rd October. The first training session will be on Thursday 6th October for a longer period and will finish at 4:30pm due to the match starting the next week.
Pupils will need to attend all of the training sessions to take part in the matches. Parents will need to be able to transport their child or arrange for their child to be transported to local schools in time for the matches.

St. Johns 28/2/23 @ 3:20pm
Fairfields 21/3/23 @3:30pm

if you would like your child to take part in the trials next week. They will need to wear PE uniform to school on the day of the trial.
