Parents Events

Due to COVID restrictions we are unable to have parents into the school to participate in the events we normally would really enjoy.  For that reason we have decided to make use of Zoom technology to host assemblies and Parents Evenings.

Mrs Dawson and Kathmandu class will be hosting the first assembly this Friday.  Parents of children in this class should have already received the code to join the assembly. 

We would also like to invite you to our Harvest Festival next Friday 23^rd October.  This will also be held virtually.  The Zoom meeting code will emailed to everyone privately via Scopay and so please do look out for this.

This year we will be collecting food items for the Basingstoke Food Bank.  Becky Kitter from Proteus theatre will be creating a display in the school hall to celebrate harvest this year.  If you are able to, we would welcome donations of the following items:

• Instant Mash Potato
• Vegetables (Tinned carrots/peas/sweetcorn)
• Breakfast Cereal (cold)
• Spaghetti/Ravioli (Tinned)
• Fruit Juice (Longlife 1L)
• Tomatoes (Tinned)
• Rice Pudding (Tinned)

Cooking Sauce (Jar/Sachet)

• Meat (Tinned Mince, Ham, Stew, Chicken)
• Fruit (Tinned)
• Custard
• Puddings (Packet or Tinned)
• Milk (Powdered)
• Sweet or Savoury Spreads(Jam, Marmite)
• Biscuits/Snacks
• Instant Coffee (small)

Children can bring these items into school in a carrier bag each day the week beginning the 19^th October.

We will share the display during the Harvest Assembly on Friday 23rd at 2pm during our assembly.  Each class will also present a piece of work to the whole school.

Finally, Parents' Evening will be held virtually this year.  Parents will receive the code for the meeting from their child’s teacher via email.  Please ensure that we have your up to date email to help with this.

You will be held in a virtual waiting room until it is your appointment time.  Please can we ask that we keep to time for the appointment and I have asked teachers to not overrun.  We are also preparing a portfolio of work for you to have at home ready for your meeting.
