Dear Parents,

I wanted to write to give you updated guidance on the procedure we are following if a child or adult in the school displays symptoms. This guidance is attached and can also be found on the 'Letter and Forms' page on our website.

Since opening on the 1st June we have had one child sent home today with a cough.  This took place today and was as a precaution as the child had no other symptoms. 

We isolated the child immediately and cleaned the area in the classroom. We are awaiting the results and will confirm if this is a positive result.  If positive, we will then move to the next stage of the procedure and inform parents of children in the bubble affected.

There is no need to isolate your child from school until we confirm that it is a positive test.
