Close relationships and co-operation between home and school are the basis for a happy and secure child. We view education as a partnership, and trust that we can work together with parents for the benefit of the children. We also have a home/school contract that we hope all parents will sign.
Children spend significantly longer with their parents/carers that they do with their teachers and so it is really important that we work as a team to help your child to achieve the best that they can in school. There is a very simple PATH that you can follow to help support your child with his/her learning.
Purple Mash and the year group WIKIs are other useful resources for helping your child become more engaged with learning through the use of games, activities and creative tools.
ParentMail is a service which enables schools to send letters and messages direct to parents by email and text message. To use ParentMail parents are asked to provide an email address and mobile telephone number. This is a separate system to the School’s Information Management system and the ParentMail service is registered with the Data Protection Registrar and guarantees that information is kept private.
